About the Founder
Since 2016, Catherine has worked as an Independent Educational Consultant based in San Mateo County, California, specializing in supporting college-bound students through the college planning and application process. Before that, she worked in the Admissions Office for seven years at Stanford University’s GSB. Catherine has earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Government from Smith College. She has also earned a Certificate as an Independent Educational Consultant from the University of California, Irvine. She is an active member of her community over many years – volunteering at her son’s schools and several local community organizations. She is an active member of professional organizations that require high ethical standards, including IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) and HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association). Catherine has had the privilege of working with students from all over the United States and around the world.
